the Shomron Foundation

In recent generations, the State of Israel has been privileged to resettle Samaria,

the historic region where the ancestors of the nation walked.

Currently – more than 50,000 residents live in the Samaria Regional Council area, and lead a full and vibrant community and cultural life.

The Samaria Foundation was established in order to continue to strengthen the settlement enterprise in the area, through raising resources from lovers of Samaria in Israel and around the world.

In full cooperation with the Samaria Regional Council, we will continue to settle its mountains, and improve the quality of life of its residents.

The Foundation works to encourage, assist, and strengthen housing projects for the purpose of absorbing new residents, as well as for the establishment of public institutions to serve the residents of Samaria and its continued prosperity.
The Foundation initiates and implements information, marketing, and advocacy activities in Israel and around the world, in order to influence public opinion. This is for the purpose of promoting Samaria, and strengthening the position of the State of Israel in the world.
The foundation works to preserve natural resources and archeological sites in Samaria. In addition, it works to assist and budget domestic and foreign tourism in order to familiarize people with the historic sites of Samaria, and strengthen the settlement connection to the area.
The Foundation works to improve the quality of life of tens of thousands of Samaria residents, and invests in initiatives and grants to improve the fields of education and welfare.
The Foundation works to finance and strengthen the fields of art, creativity, and sports for the welfare and improvement of the quality of life of the residents of Samaria. Also - for holding cultural and leisure events.
The Foundation works to strengthen the population of Samaria by raising and investing resources to deal with emergencies and rescue efforts needed in settlement in general, and in Samaria in particular.
The foundation equips the settlements with security components and means for the emergency rooms, for the purpose of guarding and protection in times of emergency.
